Perhaps wingnuts should also take Grateful Dead lyrics to heart. They're designed to make you reflect.

any wingnuts on the "left"? name me a few socialist revolutionary wingnuts...
I enjoy a lot of GD/Hunter lyrics but you seem to apply them to your own agenda.

If you want to see mean people ranting and raving hate and bile and supressing others free speech, go no furthur than a San Francisco demonstration. I've seen it firsthand, been spat on and cursed. Mean people suck!

So, in general....
Once in a while you get shown the light
In the strangest of places if you look at it right

:-)

Well said cosmic. Yeah freedom of speech...until you piss off a liberal, right?

All you need is love...

To all you "freedom freaks", talk to me when YOUR kids' future is at stake...we'll see if your singing a dfferent tune then...

Hate speech is ugly. BTW, I'm not communist which seems just another excuse for dictators.

A conscious life does not include a 'by any means necessary' approach. Even Malclom X mellowed as he saw the end of time approaching.

Acquiescence to enormous wrongs can't be explained away by fearful alarmists; we are still responsible as a group for sins (and good deeds) done in own name. We shouldn't let ourselves become the things we claim we fear. You know, petty tyrants.

'A conscious life does not include a 'by any means necessary' approach.'

All life is 'by any means necessary' because all life is about survival. To think othewise is a delusion.

No, the proud and ruthless will not inherit the earth. Slight tangent: Dylan's Maters of War is still quite good.

Garcia agreed when people started interpreting Touch of Grey oddly. I can't find it but I heard something around the Rainforest Benefit time he said something like some situations are worth giving up your life.

I wouldn't want to survive in Hell, as the prophets have warned.

If you had said anything at all that was of the slightest relevance to my comment I might have some sort of response for you.
